Construction Documents: At this stage I prepare the detailed construction drawings and other documents detailing all the decisions we’ve made. These materials serve three different but related purposes: obtaining pricing from builders, obtaining permits, and building the project. The goal is for these documents to contain all the information needed for builders to make the project a reality. Contractors often remark that my construction documents are among the most thorough and detailed that they’ve encountered.
